NEW YORK CITY — Their plan fell flat.

Two Staten Island men working for a Brooklyn beer distribution company decided to take some of their work home last month, authorities said.

James Shaw, 39, and Louis Telese, 52, were charged Wednesday with grand larceny for taking 84 cases of Heineken from their employer, Phoenix Beverage, according to the Port Authority, which owns the property.

The two men loaded up their truck with $2,500 of the Dutch beer at Phoenix’s Red Hook facility on 2 Atlantic Ave., on Oct. 24, PA spokesman Joseph Pentangelo said.

The distributor could not be reached for comment.

The beer bandits were also charged with conspiracy and criminal possession of stolen property, he said.

They are due back in court on Jan 6.
