
MANHATTAN — A man died after being struck by a southbound 6 train Friday afternoon, the NYPD said.
The man, who was not immediately identified, jumped in front of the train about 1:40 p.m. at the station at 33rd Street and Park Avenue, sources said.
Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene, the FDNY said.
Service on the 4, 5 and 6 lines was disrupted after the incident but had resumed by 3:20 p.m., the MTA said.
