Firefighters Battle Large Brush Fire at Wolfe's Pond Park

TOTTENVILLE — Firefighters worked for more than two hours on Tuesday to battle a large brush fire at Wolfe's Pond Park on Staten Island.

The blaze was reported at 10:09 a.m. in the park at Chisholm Street, near Tottenville High School, fire officials said. Officials said the fire was put out at 12:33 p.m.

The cause of the brush fire was not immediately known, and there were no injuries reported.
