
QUEENS — A gunman wearing a Halloween mask and three accomplices robbed a Jackson Heights jeweler on the holiday, police said.
As the thieves barged into Virani Jewelers, 74-15 37th Ave., about 6:30 p.m., the masked man forced the clerk there to the back office and demanded she open the safe there, according to the NYPD.
Meanwhile, two other men rummaged through a display case while a fourth man kept watch at the door, police said.
The group ran off with necklaces, rings, and rope chains, police said.
No injuries were reported.
