Subway Work to Disrupt 13 Lines this Weekend

NEW YORK CITY — Construction and post-Sandy work will affect 13 lines, including shutting down the G train between Brooklyn and Queens for another weekend.

Here is the breakdown per line:

1 Line: There will be no trains between 137th and 242nd streets from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Trains will run between South Ferry and 137th Street.
• Free shuttle buses will run between 137th and 168th streets.
• The M3 bus and free shuttle busses will run between 168th and 191st streets.
• Free shuttle buses will run between 207th and 242nd streets.

4 Line: Uptown trains will run express from Grand Central to 125th Street from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday, 11:45 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday and 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

5 Line: Uptown trains will run express from East 180th Street to Dyre Avenue from 5:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 7:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Trains will also run every 20 minutes between Dyre Avenue and Bowling Green from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

6 Line: Uptown trains will run express from Grand Central to 125th Street from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Trains will also skip Middletown Road and Castle Hill Avenue in both directions for station renewal work starting at 12:01 a.m. Saturday and lasting until May 2014.

A Line: Downtown trains will run local from 125th Street to 59th Street-Columbus Circle from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

There will be no service between Euclid Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard or Howard Beach-JFK from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday. Trains will operate in two sections:
• Between 207th Street and Euclid Avenue
• Between Howard Beach-JFK to Far Rockaway.

Shuttle buses will run between Euclid Avenue and Howard Beach-JFK, making all subway stops. There will also be a non-stop bus between Euclid Avenue and Howard Beach.

E Line: Jamaica Center-bound trains will run local from Roosevelt Avenue to Forest Hills-71st Avenue from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

D Line: Downtown trains will run local from 145th to 59th Street-Columbus Circle from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. Monday.

There will be no service between Stillwell Avenue and Bay Parkway from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Riders can take the F or Q trains instead or the B1, B4, B64 and B82 buses
Bay Parkway may also be the last stop for some Coney Island-bound trains from 8 p.m. Saturday to 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

F Line: Jamaica-bound trains will run express from Church Avenue to Smith-9th Streets from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Jamaica-bound trains will also run local from Roosevelt Avenue to Forest Hills-71st Avenue from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Coney Island-bound trains will be rerouted over the M line from Roosevelt Avenue to 47th-50th Streets from 11:15 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

G Line: There will be no service between Nassau Avenue Court Square from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Trains will run between Nassau and Church avenues.

Free shuttle buses operate on two routes:
• Via Manhattan Avenue between Nassau Avenue G and Court Square
• Via McGuinness Boulevard between the Lorimer Street L and Court Square

Nassau Avenue-bound trains will also run express from Church Avenue to Smith-9th Streets from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

L Line: There will be no service between Lorimer Street and Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues from 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday. Trains will run in two sections, between 8th Avenue and Lorimer Street and between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues and Rockaway Parkway. Free shuttle buses will run between Lorimer Street and Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues.

N Line: Late night trains will run over the Manhattan Bridge because of Montague tube construction.

R Line: Service will run over the Manhattan Bridge and there will be no trains in either direction at Jay Street-MetroTech, Court Street, Whitehall Street, Rector Street, Cortlandt Street and City Hall.
Late night shuttle service in Brooklyn will not be affected.

Q Line: Manhattan-bound trains will skip Cortelyou and Beverly roads and Parkside Avenue because of station work.
