THE BRONX — A man driving an Infiniti died after he rear-ended a UPS tractor-trailer early Tuesday morning, sparking a pileup involving four cars in Parkchester, cops said.

The driver of the black G-35 sedan was heading southeast on the Cross Bronx Expressway when he crashed into the UPS tractor-trailer near Westchester Avenue about 3:45 a.m., according to the NYPD.

The truck's trailer swung into another tractor-trailer, police said. A second Infiniti sedan then hit the UPS truck, cops said. All the vehicles were heading in the same direction.

The first Infinity's driver, who was about 30 years old, was rushed to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, cops said.

His passenger, a 23-year-old woman, was rushed to the same hospital in stable condition, police said.

Neither the driver nor his passenger were immediately identified.

The second Infiniti's driver ran away from the scene of the crash before police arrived, the NYPD said.

The two truck drivers remained on the scene and were not injured, a police spokesman said.
