EAST NEW YORK — A man was shot dead in front of an East New York housing project early Monday morning, police said.
Police responding to a 911 call found the victim in front of 920 Vermont St. at the Penn Wortman Houses around 5:30 a.m, police said.
The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was shot in the head, according to cops.
EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
