EAST WILLIAMSBURG — If the arcade games, super hero decor and jam-packed sandwiches weren't enough, this comic book-themed joint is ready to send your amusement to another level — with booze.
Action Burger, the fast food joint that's become a refuge for science fiction fanatics, has plopped liquor-infused milkshakes and beer onto its menu, alongside "action wraps," cheese steak sticks and the "Dark Energy King" meal combo.
The Graham Avenue eatery posted the news on its door and announced it on Facebook, along with the start of a new Meetup group, the "Williamsburg card and boardgame gang" with events each week at the restaurant.
The joint, which opened last fall with a mission of "getting people to read and to eat healthy," is open daily until midnight.
