NEW SPRINGVILLE — Staten Island's newest Target, set to open Oct. 13 in Richmond Shopping Center, is looking for 300 employees.

The 150,000-square-foot store will hold a job fair Thursday to Sunday at the College of Staten Island to hire for positions including sales floor team leader, cashier, photo lab team member, deli team member, baker, Starbucks team member, pharmacy technician, and human resources team member, according to Target's career website.

The store at 2845 Richmond Ave. was originally supposed to launch in July but pushed the opening date back to October because of "issues stemming from Hurricane Sandy," according to a Target representative.

The store will sell fresh produce and meat in addition to the everyday necessities the retail store is known for.

The job fair will be held at the College of Staten Island, 2800 Victory Blvd., on Thursday from noon to 7 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Prospective employees are asked to make an appointment for an interview at Target’s career website.
