BROOKLYN — The NYPD is looking for a man they say robbed jewelry from mostly elderly victims in Flatlands, Mill Basin, East Flashbush and Canarsie last month.

Cops said the man robbed 11 people between July 10 and 28, typically approaching them near their home in the late morning or early afternoon, showing a silver gun and then demanding jewelry.

Most of the victims were older than 65. The oldest victim was 78, while the youngest was 48, cops said.

Police described the man as between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-5, 150 pounds, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a light-colored baseball hat, cops said.
