Off-Duty Queens Cop Arrested for Menacing, NYPD Says

QUEENS — An off-duty police officer was arrested Friday and charged with menacing, according to the NYPD.

Officer Christopher Harris, 31, was arrested late Friday in the 105th Precinct, which covers southeastern Queens.

The circumstances of the alleged crime were not immediately clear.

Harris has been a police officer for three years, and is assigned to the 110th Precinct in Elmhurst, according to the NYPD. 

He was suspended without pay.
