COBBLE HILL — A $3,100 laptop was stolen from a customer at a neighborhood bar this week, police said.
The victim, a 43-year-old woman, was seated with her pricey Apple Macbook and computer bag about 7:50 p.m. at Downtown Bar & Grill, located at 160 Court St., when she stepped outside to use her cell phone, according to police sources.
When she returned, she found that the laptop and $50 bag were both missing, cops said.
Surveillance video from the bar captured the suspect, who is described as a 20-year-old man with black hair wearing tan shorts and a black T-shirt at the time, police said.
The owner of the bar was not available for comment.
