QUEENS — Here's your chance to do as the Mets often do, and fall asleep on the field.

The first-ever "Citi Field Sleepover" on August 10 will give fans the chance to spend the night in the ballpark, and watch a live broadcast of the Mets' road game from the playing field. The game will be broadcast on the big screen in center field

Fans with sleeping bags can crash on the grass, and more serious campers can pitch their tent on the warning track.

There will also be a dinner buffet, late-night snacks, breakfast and drinks throughout the 15-hour event — and fans can even meet Mr. and Mrs. Met.

Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10:00 a.m., and cost $200 each. A limited number of 500 tickets will be available for purchase.

And all the fans who attend the sleepover will get a free ticket to a Mets home game in September.

The event is hosted by Metropolitan Hospitality, and presented by Tempur-Pedic.
