BROOKLYN — A man was critically injured after a Manhattan-bound train hit him in the Church Avenue station during Monday morning's rush-hour commute, FDNY said.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was struck about 7:15 a.m. and rushed to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, a fire spokesman said.
Both 2 and 5 trains, which run through the station, were temporarily rerouted, according to the MTA.
The 2 ran along the 3 line until New Lots Avenue and the 5 ran along the 4 line until Utica Avenue, the MTA said.
Commuters were advised to allow for additional travel time.
