Two Thieves Beat and Rob Man Inside His Elmhurst Home, Police Say

ELMHURST — Two thieves broke into an Elmhurst man's home and assaulted and robbed him earlier this month, police said.

The suspects allegedly entered the man's apartment on May 8 through an unlocked front door at 5 a.m., police said.

Once inside, the two men punched the victim several times in the head and robbed him, then fled, police said.

His condition was not immediately clear. It was also not clear what was taken.

Video released on Wednesday showed the suspects wearing blue hooded sweatshirts and baseball caps. One man was also wearing a puffy blue vest over the sweatshirt.
