COBBLE HILL — Smith Street eatery Battersby might be moving south to a new location in Carroll Gardens.

The critically-acclaimed restaurant, at 255 Smith St., could be eyeing a spot on Court Street that used to house shuttered burger joint Vinzee's Magic Fountain, Eater NY reports.

Chefs Walker Stern and Joseph Ogrodnek opened the Cobble Hill restaurant in October 2011, currently their only location.

The 2800-square-foot property at 412 Court St., has an additional 600 square-feet of outdoor space, seats over 75 with a complete kitchen, a walk-in refrigerator and freezer and an array of cooking equipment, according to a Douglas Elliman listing.

"Ideal for the person who wants to skip the hassle of construction so they can earn from day one," according to the real estate website.

Battersby, which The New York Times described as have "French, Mediterranean, and Asian grace notes" in its dishes, did not respond for comment on the rumored move.
