NEW YORK CITY — Not satisfied with his command of city politics, Mayor Michael Bloomberg takes on Chicago's political scene when he appears on the season finale of "The Good Wife" Sunday night.

It's not clear if Hizzoner has flown to the Windy City to recruit Chris Noth's character, disgraced prosecutor Peter Florrick, to replace him after his third term expires.

Bloomberg's press office did not respond to message seeking comment.

Photos of the mayor's cameo on the third-place CBS legal drama show him talking to Noth as Deputy Mayor Patricia Harris stands by.

The show's finale, titled "What's in the Box?" has title character, Alicia Florrick, played by Juliana Marguilies, wrestling once again with a major decision in her romantic life: does she return to her cheating husband or reignite her love affair with her boss?

The show airs at 9 p.m.
