NEW YORK CITY — A dispute between two men turned violent on Tuesday when one of them gunned down the other as he was driving a large van through Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, cops said.
Martin Williams, 42, was driving east along Hawthorne Street when Daneel Edwards, 26, blasted him near Rogers Avenue about 1 p.m., according to the NYPD.
Williams kept driving but crashed the van a block later near 327 Hawthorne St. and died while trying to climb through the passenger side door, cops said.
Edwards was arrested on murder charges, police said. It was not immediately clear what the dispute was about.
