Man Forcibly Touched Teen Girls, Women in Brooklyn Laundromats, Cops Say

By Elizabeth Barber | April 5, 2013 8:16am

BROOKLYN — A man exposed himself to and forcibly touched five females, including three teenage girls, in laundromats near Bushwick and Canarsie since 2012, cops said.

In each of the four incidents spanning from March 18, 2012, to March 30, 2013, the suspect entered laundromats and accosted the women before fleeing, according to the NYPD.

The first two violations took place within an hour of each other when the suspect flashed and forced himself upon two girls, ages 14 and 16, in a Bushwick laundromat about 8 p.m., cops said.

A little more than an hour later, he accosted another 14-year-old girl in a nearby laundromat, police said.

The suspect, whom cops described as about 6-feet-tall and weighing about 200 pounds, violated two other women in Canarsie on March 30 of this year, according to the NYPD.

None of the women were injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
