FOREST HILLS — A 23-year-old woman jogging in a city park was attacked with a stun gun and sexually abused on Friday evening, police said.
The victim was out for a run at 7:25 p.m. inside Forest Hills Park on March 29 when a man grabbed her from behind, shocked her with a stun gun, and sexually assaulted her, cops said.
The woman was taken to an area hospital for injuries sustained to her neck, police said, and cops are on the lookout for a man matching the description of her attacker.
Police said Sunday that the suspect is a male, 35 to 40 years of age, standing 5-foot-9, with a medium build. The alleged attacker was last seen wearing a gold hoop earring, a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, navy track pants, and has reddish brown hair and facial hair, police said.
