Suspects Shot Man in Leg in Parkchester, Police Say

THE BRONX — Police are looking for two suspects accused of shooting a man in the leg in Parkchester early Thursday morning, the NYPD said.

The victim was walking at Taylor Avenue and Archer Street about 4 a.m. when the suspects confronted him, police said. One of the suspects shot him in the leg, and then both suspects fled, police said.

The victim was treated at a local hospital.

Police described the first suspect, the alleged shooter, as a 5-foot-9 man last seen wearing a dark jacket, black Yankees baseball cap and dark sneakers. Police described the second suspect as a 5-foot-8 man last seen wearing a black jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.
