CROWN HEIGHTS — A middle-aged woman stabbed a 21-year-old man to death inside the stairwell of a Crown Heights apartment building after an argument early Thursday morning, cops said.

The victim, Akeem Burrows, was discovered with stab wounds to his torso inside the stairwell leading to the second floor of 1315 Eastern Parkway about 4 a.m., according to the NYPD.

Burrows, who lived several blocks away, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police arrested 61-year-old Joan John, who also lives nearby, and charged her with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

The nature of the dispute between John and Burrows was not immediately known.
