NEW YORK CITY — Commuters and Passover travelers could be slowed down by snowy conditions on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters predicted 2 to 3 inches of wet snow, with up to 4 inches in isolated areas, according to the NWS, which issued a hazardous weather outlook for the area.

Light snow is expected to develop Monday morning and continue into the night, with a winter weather advisory remaining in effect until midnight, forecasters say.
