QUEENS — A man in his 40s was struck by a vehicle and hurt in Jackson Heights Monday evening, officials said.
The man was hit at 81st Street and 35th Avenue just before 7:50 p.m., the FDNY said.
He was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital Center with apparent head injuries, the FDNY said.
The man's condition and the circumstances of the crash were not immediately known.
