BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — Forget the sweeping views of Lower Manhattan — this summer, the food will be the best reason to visit Brooklyn Bridge Park.

The park recently announced that Luke’s Lobster, No. 7 Sub, Ample Hills Creamery and Fornino Pizza will be joining the summer concession-stand lineup.

“With the addition of these four concessions and the return of Brooklyn Bridge Wine Bar, Calexico Carne Asada, Blue Marble Ice Cream, and Smorgasburg, [Brooklyn Bridge Park] is quickly becoming a destination for the foodie in all of us," said Regina Myer, president of the park.

Ample Hills Creamery is set to sell unique ice cream concoctions like vanilla honey ice cream with pieces of homemade cornbread and candied bacon, and Prosecco and grapefruit sorbet with a twist of lemon and a hint of ginger, from Pier 5 next to the park's new hibachi-style grill tops, reclaimed wood picnic tables and sport fields.

Fornino Pizza will be stationed at Pier 6 on the roof of the park's warming hut.

Luke’s Lobster will sling seafood rolls and clam chowder from the Smokestack Building under the Brooklyn Bridge alongside No. 7 Sub, which will serve tasty sandwiches.

"There's nothing better than a lobster roll with a water view, and we're excited to finally be able to offer that from the Brooklyn side of the river,” Ben Conniff, a partner at Luke’s Lobster, said in a statement. “BBP has done an amazing job picking the city's best food and we can't wait to be part of that tradition."
