Woman Struck by Vehicle, Seriously Hurt in The Bronx, Officials Say

MORRIS PARK — A woman was rushed to the hospital in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle in The Bronx Thursday afternoon, officials said.

The crash happened at Holland and Lydig avenues near White Plains Road about 2:40 p.m., the Fire Department said. The woman, who officials said is in her 60s, was taken to Jacobi Hospital.

There was no immediate information on whether the driver remained at the scene.
