MURRAY HILL — An elevator worker suffered an electric shock in an East 34th Street building Thursday, according to the FDNY.

The unidentified man was injured about 12:40 p.m. inside of 49 E. 34th St., near Madison Avenue, a fire spokesman said.

The victim was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell, where he was listed in serious condition, the spokesman said.
