CORONA — A raging fire tore through a church and several businesses on Northern Boulevard Sunday evening, FDNY officials said.

The blaze, which sparked in a store at 104-15 Northern Boulevard, near 105th Street, began about 10 p.m., a fire spokesman said.

The fire quickly spread to Eagle Signs, at 104-11 Northern Blvd., and to Church of God in Christ International at 104-13 Northern Blvd., officials said. A few doors down, the Lospinos Lounge suffered damage, too.

The Friendship Church of Christ Baptist at 104-09 Northern Blvd. sustained minor damage as well, officials said.

It took dozens of firefighters to get the four-alarm fire under control more than two hours later, officials said.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries, but no other injuries were reported, the spokesman said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
