EAST FLATBUSH — An off-duty correction officer was arrested for driving while intoxicated and crashing into a pole near East 51st Street, police said.
Jahaira Almodovar, 33, was driving along Farragut Road about 3 a.m. when she slammed her vehicle into the pole, according to NYPD officials.
She has been charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, cops said.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was in the car with Almodovar at the time.
No injuries were reported.
