OZONE PARK — The Spanish government has extradited a 56-year-old man accused of running over a 15-year-old boy who had been attempting to cross Rockaway Boulevard at 101st Street in Queens back in 2005.
After the incident, the suspect, Bartolo Paula, allegedly drove off without stopping after the October 26 accident, according to police. He is being charged with first-degree manslaughter.
The accident happened several blocks from the Aqueduct Racetrack.
