THE BRONX—Police have charged a New York City correction’s officer with unlawful imprisonment.
A police source said Luis Leonard, 46, had a dispute with his ex-girlfriend’s daughter and trapped her inside an apartment in the Soundview section of the Bronx for a day.
“He handcuffed her and wouldn’t let her leave,” the source said.
