CANARSIE — A man was struck by a train and seriously injured after falling onto the tracks at the E. 105th Street station, officials said.

Emergency crews rushed to E. 105th Street and Farragut Road about 9:30 a.m., responding to a 911 call of a man in his 20s on the tracks, according to the FDNY.

The unidentified man was struck by a Manhattan-bound train, an Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokeswoman said.

The victim was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, an FDNY spokesman said.

The details of the incident were still being investigated, but sources said the man may have jumped.

The L train temporarily terminated at the Broadway Junction Station, but resumed normal service around 10:45 a.m., according to transit officials.

The incident comes days after a 30-year-old homeless man shoved another man onto the tracks of a Midtown station and then watched as a Q train crushed him.
