NEW YORK — A 26-year-old man was stabbed in the chest Friday by a group of men in the Baruch public housing complex, police said.

The attack happened shortly 2:40 p.m. outside of 64 Baruch Drive, which is inside the NYCHA-run Baruch Houses, a NYPD spokesman said.

Witnesses said the victim made his way to 950 E. 4th Walk, which is inside the Lillian Wald Houses. Emergency crews responded to a 911 call and took him to Mt. Sinai Medical Center, police said.

Police were investigating and there were no arrests by Friday evening.
