JACKSON HEIGHTS — Police are searching for a man they say sexually abused two young girls in a Queens apartment building Monday night.

The suspect allegedly walked into the building in Jackson Heights and entered a laundry room there about 7:00 that evening, police said.

That's when he confronted two young girls, who are 4- and 9-years-old, and touched them inappropriately before fleeing the scene, police said.

The suspect is described as having short, dark hair, and was wearing a blue-and-white-striped zip-up hoodie.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS, or by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at nypdcrimestoppers.com, or texting tips to 274637(CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
