'Zoolander' Fashion Show to Close Fashion Week in Brooklyn

WILLIAMSBURG — Calling the most "ridiculously good looking" people in the neighborhood.

The Derelicte Fashion Show, from Ben Stiller's smash hit 2001 film "Zoolander," is no longer confined to the screen. It's being replicated in real life, just as this year's Fashion Week draws to a close.

Film group BBQ Films is bringing the hilarious runway competition to Kent Avenue the weekend after Fashion Week, which the event's website hails as "a rad event complete with male models." Guests can enjoy "fashion treats" and cocktails, plus screenings of the movie.

And for those who weren't invited to model in Fashion Week, organizers will serve up rice krispy treats complete with a "reflective spoon for you to gaze at yourself and see how ridiculously good looking you are," the event page notes.

The Derelicte Fashion Show is Sep. 21 and 22 at 8 p.m. at Windmill Studios NYC. Tickets are $22 or $32 and can be purchased on the event's website.
