EAST HAMPTON — There weren't many wallflowers at this film premiere.

Designer Donna Karan hosted a screening and al fresco dinner at her home over Labor Day weekend for "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," the new coming-of-age movie starring "Harry Potter" actress Emma Watson.

Hamptons-goers Padma Lakshmi, Molly Sims, Stephanie March and Bobby Flay, Howard and Beth Stern, Chris Henchy and Brooke Shields, Gina Gershon and more turned up for the screening on Saturday, Sept. 2, at Karan's home.

Based on the wildly successful novel of the same name by Stephen Chbosky, the film stars Watson, Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller as a teen trio experiencing the pains and pleasures of adolescence.

Nina Dobrev, Paul Rudd, Dylan McDermott and Melanie Lynskey also star in the film, which opens in theaters Sept. 21, 2012.
