Motorcyclist Killed in Brownsville Collision

BROWNSVILLE — A 22-year-old motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a car at Eastern Parkway and Saratoga Avenue Wednesday night, the NYPD said.

Ernesto Weeks was riding the motorcycle east on Eastern Parkway when about 6:15 p.m. he smashed into the rear of a 2001 Mercedes Benz making a left turn onto Saratoga Avenue, police said.

Weeks was in cardiac arrest when he was taken to the hospital, an FDNY spokesman said. Police said he died at Brookdale Hospital.

There were no injuries to the passengers in the car, NYPD said.
