LOS ANGELES — Knicks star Jeremy Lin took home the "Best Breakthrough Athlete" award at Wednesday night's ESPYs in Los Angeles, hamming it up with Jets quarterback and fellow New Yorkers Tim Tebow at the annual awards show hosted by ESPN.
Tebow, who was signed by the Jets during the offseason, won the "Best Moment" award for his playoff-winning touchdown pass last year to Demaryius Thomas when he was still with the Denver Broncos.
Tebow presented Lin with the "Breakthrough Athlete Award," with the two then posing for a pair of goofy pictures with actress Jessica Biel that were posted on Lin's Twitter feed.
"THANKS and much LOVE to all the fans for the espy votes!!" Lin Tweeted during the show.
Giants quaterback Eli Manning, Giants receiver Victor Cruz and Jets starting quaterback Mark Sanchez were also in attendance at the 19th annual awards show.
