'Big Ang' Hosts Larger-Than-Life Premiere Party for 'Mob Wives' Spin-Off

THEATER DISTRICT — There is nothing small about mob wife Angela “Big Ang” Raiola.

The lips, the hair, the chest, the voice — is it any wonder that she now has her own reality show? The break-out fan favorite on VH1’s “Mob Wives” (which is about the wives of men associated with organized crime families in Staten Island), hosted the premiere party for her own TV show titled, appropriately, "Big Ang", on Sunday night at Trattoria Dopo Teatro in New York’s theater district.

“Big Ang,” the niece of Salvatore “Sally Dogs” Lombardi, the deceased captain on the Genovese crime family, was feted by fellow “Mob Wife” Drita D’Avanzo, the shows’ executive producer Jennifer Graziano along with other Staten Island friends.

And the sweetest thing? Besides mini-cupcakes from Baked by Melissa, party-goers were also treated to a three-tier cake topped with a likeness of Raiola’s beloved dog Louie, who was also in attendance.
