WILLIAMSBURG — Bedford Avenue is getting that much cooler.

The make-your-own frozen yogurt chain 16 Handles will open its 25th outpost at the end of July at 141 N. Seventh St., just down the block from the bustling Bedford Avenue L train station.

In 16 Handles style, customers can serve up their own portions of flavors including birthday cake, cookies and cream, mango and New York cheescake, before they smother their creamy cups in Oreos, peanuts, marshmallows and blueberries (to name just a few toppings).

The store's grand opening party — the date has yet to be determined — will feature July's special flavor: coconut custard pie with a macaroon brownie pie topping, said Natalie Vinegar of 16 Handles' marketing department.

"We've been growing very rapidly," Vinegar said of the four-year-old company, which has been expanding across the city and the country. "Williamsburg will be our 25th store."

16 Handles' popular New York locations include the East Village, the Upper West Side, Chelsea and Carroll Gardens. Park Slope and Bronx locations are also opening in the next few months, Vinegar added.

Williamsburg's 16 Handles hours will be similar to that of other stores, which are open until 11:30 p.m. weeknights and 12:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, she added.
