One of the suspects, Ibrahima Ragis, 20, is also wanted for two rapes and a robbery in Forest Hills.
According to police the two men confronted a woman, in her 20s, as she walked along the Horace Harding Expressway, near 99th Street, with a shopping cart at 2:30 a.m. on June 22.
Police said that the second suspect walked up behind the woman and sexually assaulted her, but fled when the victim hit him with the cart.
That's when police say Ragis ran up to the victim, threw her to the ground and attempted to rape her. The woman fought him off and Ragis fled.
Police said the victim was taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated for bruising and cuts to her body.
The second suspect is described as 18- to 20-years-old, stands 5-foot-9 and weighs about 150 pounds. Police say he was seen wearing only dark blue basketball shorts.
Police have been searching for Ragis for over a month for a string of rapes and robberies in Forest Hills in May and June.
All of the victims have been women in their teens or early 20s.
His picture has been plastered on the walls of subway stations in Forest Hills and Rego Park and Queens politicians have handed out flyers to warn residents about the rapes.
