Repaving Work to Close Streets in Parts of Gramercy, Kips Bay This Week

MANHATTAN — Parts of Gramercy and Kips Bay can expect construction and street closures this week, as the city begins repaving several stretches of road throughout the East Side neighborhoods.

From Tuesday through Friday, the Department of Transportation will perform resurfacing work on East 23rd Street from Lexington Avenue to Avenue C.

On Thursday, the DOT will repave the FDR service road from East 23rd to 25th streets, and East 25th Street from the FDR service road to Asser Levy Place.

The resurfacing work will close down the affected streets from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
