NEW YORK CITY — The 2010 shuttering of the city's Off Track Betting facilities was a dark day for fans who bet on horses. But for those who want to put money on I'll Have Another to win the Triple Crown at Saturday's Belmont Stakes, there's life after the OTB.

DNAinfo.com New York rounded up a list of places where you can legally bet on the race:

Belmont Park (2510 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont, Long Island)

There's nothing like betting on the race in person, so intrepid fans willing to trek out to Long Island and push through the estimated 100,000 fans expected to turn out for race day can place their bets on the undercards or main race at either the manned ticket booths or the electronic terminals.

There are no more seats available — the park sold out of online reserved tickets to the Belmont Stakes in in just three minutes, but general admission never sells out at the Belmont ticket window, according to a New York Racing Association spokesman. General admission ticket cost $10 the day of the race.

Aqueduct (110 Rockaway Boulevard, Ozone Park)

For those who don't want to push through the crowd at Belmont Park but still want the feel of the track, the Aqueduct, located within city limits, might be the place for you.

The only place left in the city to physically place a bet on a horse, Aqueduct is manned with ticket booths and self-serve terminals, just like Belmont. But the Ozone Park racetrack was recently joined by a "racino," Resorts World Casino, where fans can gamble in addition to betting on the horses. Resorts World has no specific plans for race day, but Bar 360, located in the center of the casino, boasts a 28-foot wide screen that makes for a perfect place to watch the race.

The Race Palace (1600 Round Swamp Road, Plainview, Long Island)

Nassau OTB's Race Palace will be open as usual for the Belmont Stakes, and race fans can place bets in one of three ways.

Like the Belmont and Aqueduct, there are electronic and manned teller windows. But for those who have reserved a table, you can also bet at touch screens at your table, while enjoying food and drink from the restaurant. While you eat, you can enjoy the palace's wall of televisions, with the Belmont playing on the 20-foot screen in the middle.

Online

There are a few websites out there that offer the opportunity to wager online, though only one is sponsored by the New York Racing Association.

NYRA Rewards allows you to place your bets either online or over the phone. You can sign up online, by fax, mail or at any racetrack in New York, and your account allows you stream live races from your computer.
