MANHATTAN — Move over Kim Kardashian.

A quirky street performer who was so taken with Kanye West that she changed her name grabbed the spotlight for the wrong reasons — hurling an amplifier through the window of an Office Depot in Times Square during a meltdown last year.

Linda Resa, 28, of Chicago, pleaded guilty Wednesday to criminal mischief charges in the incident. She loves the hip-hop honcho so much that she officially changed her name to "Kanye Resa West" last April and frequently dons a wedding dress when she performs.

"Kanye has a lot of girls that like him, but I’ll go further than they will," said the pink-clad songbird after a Manhattan court appearance.

The singer, who sports three tattoos bearing the "Gold Digger" emcee's name and performs under the moniker Mrs. Kanye West, has no love lost for Kanye's real-life squeeze, Kim Kardashian.

"I don't really like her right now," she said. "I think he can do better."

West was belting out a Beyonce song in Times Square last Sept. 13 when the batteries in her amplifier died, she said.

The frustrated singer, who lives in the real Kanye West's hometown, Chicago, but travels to New York to perform, picked up the amp and sent it crashing through the window of a nearby Office Depot.

West, who pleaded guilty to misdemeanor criminal mischief Wednesday, said she didn't mean to cause the damage and was just having a bad day.

“I shouldn’t have done it. I didn’t mean to do it," she said. "I got so mad that day, but I’m usually a sweet person.”

She was sentenced to 100 hours of community service, which she can perform in Chicago.

West, who has been performing for about eight years, was smitten after she met West at a Chicago singing competition in 2005.

"Since I met him, I knew I wanted to show my affection for him," she said.

Kanye, who was one of the competition judges, complimented West on her singing prowess.

“You have star power. You were on stage like a pro,” she remembered him saying.

Since then she has been trying to get Kanye's attention and was surprised when West reportedly hooked up with Kardashian last month.

“I was surpised. I really thought the things I did would say something to him,” she said. “I just didn’t think it would be her.

"She’s had like five boyfriends in three seconds, but what can you do?”
