BROOKLYN — A fire broke out in a Flatbush building Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

An apartment on the fifth floor of 712 E. 27th St., near Campus and Glen roads, caught fire just after 2:30 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

Some 60 firefighters from 12 units extinguished the blaze in about 30 minutes, he added.

No one was injured in the fire.
