BROOKLYN — A Brownsville teenager was arraigned Tuesday on charges that he shot and killed a 20-year-old man over the weekend, authorities said.

Ronel McGregory, 16, is accused of fatally shooting Felix Michael Davis on St. Mark's Avenue Sunday evening, police said.

McGregory, of Park Place, was taken into custody Monday night and charged with the killing, NYPD officials said Tuesday. Cops said McGregory and Davis, who were described as acquaintances, lived just a few blocks from each other.

A witness told authorities that McGregory pointed a loaded handgun — which he obtained from an abandoned apartment — at Davis and shot him in the chest, according to the criminal complaint.

Davis — who once studied science at Medgar Evers College, school officials said — was taken to Brookdale University Hospital, where he died, according to police.

McGregory, who has two prior arrests that are unsealed, was arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court on charges of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon. He was remanded and is scheduled back in court on Wednesday.

The firearm he allegedly used in the shooting has not been recovered, police said.
