QUEENS — A motorcyclist and his passenger died Sunday night after their vehicle collided with an MTA bus in Jackson Heights, the NYPD reported.

The victims' identities have not been released. Both were male and one was 25 years old, police said.

About 8:15 p.m., the victims were riding a Suzuki motorcycle east on 31st Avenue when they struck a Q47 bus that was making a left turn from 31st Avenue onto 73rd Street, the NYPD and an MTA spokesman said.

The victims were transported to Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, where they were pronounced dead on arrival.

Kevin Ortiz, an MTA spokesman, said the bus driver and two passengers were taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.
