BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a man who punched and robbed an 88-year-old woman in Brownsville Wednesday night.
The suspect allegedly followed the elderly woman into a building on Saratoga Avenue just before 8 p.m. May 9 and punched her in the head, police said.
He then grabbed her pocketbook and fled, they added.
The victim was taken to Woodhull Medical Center in stable condition, police said.
Police described the suspect being in his 20s and standing about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a blue coat, black cap, dark pants with white stripes down the sides and black sneakers with white stripes.
