QUEENS — A pedestrian was left unconscious after being struck on a Woodhaven street Monday night, FDNY officials said.

The victim, whose age and gender was not immediately known, was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in serious condition after the accident at Jamaica Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard just before 7 p.m., fire officials said.

The driver remained at or near the scene, officials noted.
