MANHATTAN — The Meatpacking District hotel famous for racy shows its guests put on in its floor-to-ceiling windows is inviting people to drop trou for a game usually associated with grandmothers.
The restaurant inside The Standard Hotel will host a night of "No Pants Bingo" Sunday starting at 10:30 p.m., according to its Facebook and Twitter pages.
"No Pants Bingo - do we dare???" @StandardNY tweeted.
Twitter user @RichardFleming said he was looking for something to wear to the soiree at The Standard, a celebrity hangout that has advertised its guests' fondness for public sex.
"Who is coming to #nopantsbingo @standardny?? I am off to buy some undies!!" he wrote.
The dress code for this latest iteration of The Standard Grill's "Not Your Standard Bingo" series doesn't necessarily call for only underwear, though.
"You could celebrate by wearing a dress, skirt, kilt or other pants alternative," an invitation to the event posted on Facebook said.
Past themes of "Not Your Standard Bingo" include Britney Spears, April Fools, Lady Gaga and Disney princesses.
